How to Clean & Reuse Your Vessel
1. Allow it to cool completely.
When approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel, discontinue burning your candle. Extinguish it and allow the vessel and remaining wax to cool completely. Never add water to hot wax or a hot vessel.
2. Remove the remaining wax.
Gently loosen cooled wax with a spoon or another non-sharp utensil. Never use a knife or sharp object on a glass vessel. Allow removed wax to solidify and dispose of it in the trash. Never pour candle wax down a sink or drain.
3. Remove the wick tab.
Once everything is completely cool, gently remove the remaining wick tab and adhesive.
4. Clean according to the vessel material.
Glass vessels may be gently hand-washed with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft cloth or sponge. Metal vessels should be wiped clean and dried immediately rather than soaked. Concrete, painted, botanical, and other specialty vessels should be gently wiped with a soft damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scrubbers, dishwashers, boiling water, and extreme temperature changes.
5. Inspect the vessel.
Before reuse, inspect the vessel carefully for cracks, chips, deep scratches, loose components, or other damage. Never use a damaged vessel with a candle warmer, refill insert, or other heat source.
6. Dry completely.
Make sure the vessel is completely dry before repurposing it or using an approved heat-based reuse option.
7. Reuse safely.
Repurpose your vessel as a decorative catch-all, or use select Patrão Botanicals vessels with compatible wax warmers or approved Patrão Botanicals refill inserts. Only use heat-based reuse methods specifically approved for the vessel and follow all warmer or refill instructions.
Important:
Do not burn loose wax, another candle, tealight, or unapproved refill inside a used Patrão Botanicals vessel. Do not burn a refill insert by itself. Repurposed vessels are not intended for food, beverages, cooking, or food storage. Keep heated products away from children, pets, and flammable materials, use them on a stable heat-resistant surface, and allow the vessel to cool before handling.
General Candle Care
To ensure a clean, even burn and the best fragrance experience, follow these simple care guidelines.
First Burn
Allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface before extinguishing. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures a consistent burn.
Trim the Wick
Keep the wick trimmed to approximately ¼ inch before each use to maintain a steady, clean flame.
Burn Time
Burn your candle for no more than 3–4 hours at a time to preserve fragrance quality and performance.
Placement
Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and away from drafts.
Discontinue Use
Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.
Room & Linen Spray Refill System
Your Patrão Botanicals room and linen spray bottle is designed to be reused. When it is empty, refill it only with the same Patrão Botanicals fragrance.
Choose Your Refill
Choose an 8 oz or 16 oz refill. First-time customers may select a starter kit that includes a reusable mini funnel. If you already have a funnel, choose the refill-only option.
How to Refill Your Bottle
1. Place the empty spray bottle on a protected, level surface.
2. Unscrew and remove the entire spray top.
3. Insert the reusable mini funnel into the bottle opening.
4. Slowly pour in the same Patrão Botanicals fragrance, leaving room for the sprayer. Do not overfill.
5. Remove the funnel, wipe away any spills, and securely replace the sprayer.
6. Wash the funnel and allow it to dry completely before storing.
Important
Refill only with the same fragrance. Do not combine fragrances, dilute the refill, or add water. For room and linen use only. Keep away from children, pets, heat, sparks, and open flame. Avoid contact with the face, eyes, and skin. Test fabrics in an inconspicuous area before use, and avoid finished wood and other delicate surfaces.
